Loved the parking space, because who doesn't enjoy a good game of "find a spot for your car in Whitby"? And the fireplace was great, because nothing says "relaxing vacation" like sweating and smelling like smoke.
Oh, I just adored the lack of mirrors and sockets near them, because getting ready in the morning is just so overrated.

We got great value for our money with the amazing welcome, comfortable beds, and a well-equipped kitchen. The location was perfect, offering stunning views of the sea and Whitby Abbey. The hosts were fantastic, making us feel welcome with a personal note and gift.
The only minor improvement would be to have a more diverse menu for breakfast.

The views from the cottage were absolutely breathtaking, with a clear sight of the beautiful surroundings. The hosts were extremely welcoming and left a lovely letter and gift for us upon arrival. The comfortable beds provided a great night's sleep, and the spacious kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for cooking. The cozy living room with a log fire was the perfect spot to relax and unwind.
There were not enough sockets near mirrors, which made it challenging for our group of women to get ready. It would have been nice to have more mirrors available as well.

My stay at Idyllic Whitby Cottage, With Sea Views, Sleeps 6 was absolutely amazing. The clean accommodation provided plenty of room and had a lovely seating area outside with fantastic views of Whitby and Whitby Abbey. It was a short distance to travel into Whitby and Goathland. The hosts, Alex, Kelly, and their family, made me feel incredibly welcome with a nice letter and gift upon arrival. The beds were really comfortable and the kitchen had everything I needed to cook. The living room with the fire was the perfect place to relax and watch the fire burn. The log fire added a cozy touch to the whole experience. I highly recommend this cottage for a delightful stay in Whitby.
Although the directions to the property were great, it was a bit challenging to find the exact entrance in the dark, especially with wet ground causing muddy tracks while unloading the cars. the fenced-off gate and path around the attached property made it seem inaccessible.
